Christian Education Committee

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded of you" are Jesus' words as recorded in Matthew 28. The Christian Education Committee works to help carry out this mission through Sunday School for all age groups from 2 years old through adults, Vacation Bible School, the Confirmation program with mentoring groups for junior high youth, and various other educational opportunities.

The committee prepares and serves dinner to the 7th and 8th grade confirmation students each Wednesday from 5:00 - 5:30 pm.

In April, the committee co-chairs the Teacher/Choir Appreciation Brunch with the Worship and Music Committee.

In May, we celebrate the end of the Sunday School year with a "Jesus Loves Me" recognition celebration.

Vacation Bible School was held in July with 150 children attending.

Rally Day started off the new Sunday School year with games, singing, praise and ice cream.

Confirmation is held on Reformation Sunday in October.

December brings the annual Christmas Program with dinner after the program served by the high school youth.
